Enrollment at CHEC assures students of their preparation for college. The goal of the college counseling program is to guide students through the sometimes bewildering plethora of information about the more than three thousand institutions of higher learning in the U.S.

Preparation for the college application process begins when our students enter as freshmen. Our desire is that by the time our students head off to pursue their future, they are academically and socially prepared for the challenges that will come their way. This is a highly individualized process and counselors will work to make sure that students keep as many options as possible open until it comes time to narrow down to a smaller list of selected schools. Our goal is to help our students find the right fit.
