Why Bell Multicultural High School?

CHEC is a unique globally-themed 6-12 dual language campus that blends rigorous instruction with personalized education, driven by technology, bilingualism and social justice. All students in middle school have their own Surface Tablets and all 9th and 10th grade students have their own laptops. On April 17, 2016, CHEC was once again named by The Washington Post Challenge Index as one of the top high schools for students in the Washington area. CHEC is also a Restorative Justice and Empowerment of Young Men of Color school. All students interested in grades 9-12 must apply through the My School DC lottery to be considered for admission.
